INTERPRO Technology, Inc.

INTERPRO Technology Inc., offers platforms designed to provide Financial Transaction Network management and Shared Branch processing.

Our expertise with open systems client/server technology optimizes the movement and processing of data across distributed networks.

The Transaction Authorizer Switch (TAS) (Copyright 1999, 1997 INTERPRO Technology, Inc.)  primary communication with the outside world is via Internet Protocol (IP) over Ethernet including Transmission Control Protocol (TCP/IP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP/IP) and HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP/IP).

All T A S computers run a real-time operating system (RTOS) called QNX. QNX is a POSIX compliant operating system with microkernel/message-passing architecture. It is the leading RTOS for PC hardware and has a strong, 20-year track record in mission-critical applications such as nuclear power plant control and on-line credit card authorization.

TAS Relay and Apache run the Java user interface on any desktop machine with a Java-enabled browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape.

TAS scalability can transparently join hundreds of PCs to configure a virtual "super computer" that will authorize hundreds of thousands of transactions per hour on databases with hundreds of millions of records!

Regardless of the size of the financial institution or service organization, the adaptability of the T A S system supports up to 350 devices on a single system. For larger installations, clustering multiple front-end communication processors, plus multiple load shared database processors, the T A S system will handle thousands of devices.
